FLU VACCINE INFORMATION
As of October 6th, we have flu vaccine for ages 6 months and up for private insurances and VFC (Medicaid and self-pay) patients. Please check back for updates or call the clinic at 662-513-4399 to ensure we have what you need before you come in. No appointment necessary. Shots are given 8 am-11:30 am and 1:30 pm-4:00 pm Monday – Friday.
IMMUNIZATION SCHEDULE
- 2 months – Pentacel (DTaP, Hib, IPV), Prevnar, Hep B, rotavirus
- 4 months – Pentacel (DTaP, Hib, IPV), Prevnar, Hep B (if not received at birth), rotavirus
- 6 months – Pentacel (DTaP, Hib, IPV), Prevnar, Hep B, rotavirus
- 12 months – Proquad (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella), prevnar, Hep A
- 15 months – Pentacel (DTaP, Hib, IPV)
- 18 months – Hep A
- 4 years – Proquad (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella), IPV, DTaP
- 11 years – TDaP, Menactra (MCV)
- 11 years + – HPV (2 or 3 shot series)
- 16 years – Menactra (MCV)
VACCINE KEY
- DTaP : Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis for children under the age of 7
- FLU Mist
- FLU Shot
- Hep B : Hepatitis B
- HiB : Haemophilus influenza type b
- HPV/Gardasil : vaccine to prevent HPV (Human papilloma virus.) HPV is a cause of cervical cancer/ genital warts.
- IPV : Polio
- Meningococcal : Meningitis
- MMR : measles, mumps, rubella.
- MMRV: measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- PCV13 or Prevnar 13: neumococcal conjugate
- Pentacel is a combination of DTaP, IPV, Hib given at 2,4, and 6 months and an option at the 15 month visit
- Tdap : Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis for children 11 years and older and required for all children entering the 7th grade in the state of Mississippi
- Rotavirus : rotaviral vaccine (RotaTeq)
- Varicella : chickenpox
